Due to COVID-19 we will be cancelling the Memorial Run and C.O.P.S. Brunch, but still want to participate and honor his memory??
This year we have the virtual race option which includes medals!
A virtual race is a race you can walk/jog/run at your own pace, at your own location and then you report your time back to us. The proceeds go to support Saul Gallegos’ sons while in college plus you get a medal and bib for your participation!

Online registration is now available....and will be available until June 18th. You can pay via Paypal, or you can register online and mail in a payment, or pay on-site.
How about these for colors? Sorry it isn't a bit clearer...the file I received was a pdf, and this application didn't like that....so had to play with it and it lost some of the clarity. Anyway, 2015 shirts will be orange.....just love this combination! I hope you do too.

The run is feeling broken hearted today....our biggest supporter, Billy Conner, died today. He has been a participant for each year of the run, and often was a donor too. He was always friendly, outgoing, and had the biggest smile that I'd ever seen. We will miss him --- prayers for Billy, condolences to his special friend Jill.

I have added pictures from the 2010 Chief for a Day celebration which is one of the kick off events for Wenatchee's Apple Blossom Festival. The Chief this year for Chelan County was Marco Gallegos -- Saul and Maria's son. The "Chief" and his family are given a tour of the Sheriff's Office in advance of the swearing in ceremony, and in Chelan County that included a visit to the Coroner's Office. Usually the Sheriff's Office provides a uniform for the Chief, but Marco was able to wear one of his dad's uniforms. I have attached a link to the Wenatchee World article about the event.

2/20/2007 The organizers of the run met today and have decided to incorporate age divisions into the run. For this year's run we will have 8 divisions:
